based peel called the MangoBrite
Resurfacer.
As the name suggests it contains mango pulp, with digestive enzymes which help dissolve keratinised cells providing a gentle surface exfoliation and improving the skin’s natural defense mechanism. MangoBrite is orange in colour as it contains high levels of the antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin C. Beta carotene is a natural form of Vitamin A which is one of the most potent antioxidants to address premature ageing. It has the ability to reprogram changes cells and normalise cell function. Vitamin C can also increase collagen synthesis and prevent UV damage, helping to lighten and brighten the skin.
The mango pulp has been combined with 30% lactic acid, an AHA known for its ability to offer a gentle exfoliation of the skin while improving skin tone and texture. Lactic acid is an extreme hydrator and is a gentler AHA compared with glycolic acid making it more suitable for sensitive dry skins. Lactic acid is also known to reduce pore size and has antibacterial properties making it useful in the treatment of acne.
To add to this, orange plant based stem cells are included in the formula for their anti-inflammmatory properties by helping to decrease puffiness. The orange stem cells are also responsible for increasing collagen stimulation leading to increased skin firmness, helping to diminish wrinkles and recovering elasticity.
The MangoBrite Resurfacers are recommended for clients with dull, devitalised, dehydrated skins. The treatment will address softening of the skin texture and brightening of the skin tone helping to lighten epidermal pigment while refining the skin surface. Skin is cleansed, then the firming enzyme mixture is applied to the skin.
As it dries on the skin (up to 8 minutes), you will feel a tightening sensation whilst you are given a head or hand massage.
Mixture is removed with warm flannels and skin is cleansed again.
A hydrating mask is then applied and left on for 5-10 minutes.
Once this has been removed, appropriate skincare products are applied to the skin.
